We love this transformation! Our awesome contractor took an existing space that couldn’t really be enlarged, but was able to add height to the shower opening, which really helped + he added an interior light as well. The tile and fixtures were all removed, and we added a new clear shower door + a neutral/crisp mix of tile for the walls and shower floor. For the floor, we chose smooth stones that conjure a spa feeling. For the walls, we chose a beautiful slightly wavy glass tile and matched the same tone with the penny tiles in the niche. Success!
