My sister just bought a beautiful row house in Philadelphia and has fallen in love with its vintage charms, especially the amazing exposed brick wall.
However, she didn’t like the color of the accent wall in the dining area … just doesn’t jive with her style or her furniture. So we picked a color that would work well with the other colors on the main level .. which is ultra-important with an open floor plan. The color she chose was Porcini by Benjamin Moore. It’s a gorgeous saturated grey/beige color. We had to use a roller cover with a thick nap, because the paint we were covering had a textured surface. We also used a 2-in-1 primer mixed with paint, which allowed us to roll only two coats for maximum coverage.
She is so pleased with the final result! She also had the floor sanded and refinished prior to her move-in date. A smart use of time/resources.
